Welcome Note for Junior Infants

Welcome Junior Infants
We are looking forward to welcoming our new Junior Infants on the 31st of August.
Please note the following information:
School uniform is available from both Deirdre Biggins’ and Ken Murphy’s shops.  Children wear a PE uniform on PE days and uniform on the other days.
·       The PE uniform consists of a red school sweatshirt with white polo shirt and plain navy tracksuit pants. Children need to wear runners on PE days.
·        The uniform is a school navy jumper with white polo shirt over grey trousers , skirt or pinafore.
Stationery required:
·        Twistables
·        A school bag that can hold an A4 folder
All other materials are covered in the book rental/art and photocopying payment
Healthy Lunch: Children have two breaks during the school day, a short 15 min break at 10.45 and a lunch break of 25 mins at 12.35pm. We encourage children to have healthy sandwiches, fruit, vegetables, cheese, raisins etc and water or milk.

Children are not allowed to have fizzy drinks, crisps, sweets or chocolate as part of their lunch. We encourage children to eat healthily.

Summer!

Mayo manager Stephen Rochford visited Ms. Hughes' fifth class on their last day of school.  They had plenty of questions and got their jerseys signed! We have to believe!
